But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
– 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NIV)

God’s power, if we allow Him, can transform our moments of despair into a testimony to His faithfulness. Through our deepest challenges, we can experience the fullness of God’s grace and strength as His grace rises to meet our weaknesses – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I was reminded on Sunday (Thank you Helen) of the Japanese art of Kintsugi. Kintsugi takes cracked and broken pottery and transforms them into beautiful pots and provides a beautiful illustration of brokenness transformed into beauty.
Can you picture God rebuilding your weaknesses, replacing them with His beauty, His gold?
